I just really wanted to say what a fantastic Instructor I had, he was kind and patient even though I had quite a few problems along the way, and yet here I am having passed. "Like all the best school teachers, Jim has the ability to teach his driving pupils without ever making them realise they're learning, and without making it seem like hard work. He knows how long to spend on a part of the tuition in order for it always to be worthwhile and sink in, but never become tedious. Also, along with every mirror, signal, manoeuvre, driving lessons with Jim are always fun, from the first to the last. By the time my test came around, I felt the most prepared I could, but not out of pocket. Jim's teaching style has meant that for me driving has become a hobby, not just a necessity or chore. He approached the driving lessons in such a way that he was not teaching me to just pass a test, but to drive in a confident, sensible & most importantly, safe manner. With manoeuvres, he would make sure I practiced them in a variety of settings so as to better prepare me for anything the examiner might throw at me & would continuously ask me what I felt needed to be worked on.
